College is the best time of your life. You hangout with people who are truly  good friends. You party it up and also study all night long. These are  days you’ll never forget but college isn’t real life and eventually comes to an end. You no longer rely on your parents at all. Looking for a job isn’t easy. Some people go to grad school but in grad school you must be more serious. There is a lot more work. Here are some ways to prepare for outside of college:

Study a lot in college and try your best to get good grades but also remember extra curricular matter too. Your grades matter for your first few jobs and then after your extra curricular matter or job experience. That doesn’t mean grades shouldn’t matter they do a lot. They help get your first couple of jobs.

If you go to grad school start looking senior year of college and apply. But if you want to take a gap year that’s okay too. Grad school helps your chances of getting a job. Remember to take grad school seriously it is a lot more work than college.

Look for cheap apartments. Your first apartment shouldn’t be something to fancy. Save your money.

Learn to cook. It is a very important skill to learn.
